Mermaiden

i was writing a story , basically it's all the mythological creatures, but before humans even existed.
i imagine that only certain creatures would hang out with certain other creatures, for example, centaurs won't hang out with satyrs, and mermaids will only hang out with water sprites, but not the sirens
